Day 1: Fez to Merzouga Erg Chebbi golden sand dunes

Today you will meet your experienced driver and skilly guide to begin your 4 day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. It is one of the longer drives, around 7 hours, but you will appreciate the variety of scenery. On the route, we will stop in Ifrane which has a European nature and climate, parks with lakes and chalets, a ski resort, and an abundance of snow in winter giving the town the moniker “Moroccan Switzerland”. On our day trip to Azrou, we’ll be able to observe the spectacular Atlas cedars and feed the wild monkeys at Ifrane. The monkeys are sociable, and they like being fed. Stop for lunch in Midelt. Our road will continue through the canyon and valley of the Ziz River, and as we approach Er-Rashidia, the environment will transform to that of a desert. Merzouga will be our overnight stop.

Day 2: 4×4 excursion to explore the desert

Day 3: Merzouga (Erg chebbi) – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We’ll get up with the sun’s first rays to watch the dawn over the gorgeous and peaceful sand dunes as one of our favorite part of your moroccan travel packages . This will become one of your most memorable memories of Morocco! We will return to start merzouga tour after breakfast and continue our journey to Dades. We’ll stop at Rissani to explore “The Fossil Factory,” where you can see the various fossils that this region is rich in. We’ll stop for a panoramic shot in the gorgeous village of Tinghir in the heart of a vast palm oasis after around 3 hours. We will then proceed to the famed Todra Gorge, where we will walk along the gorge and eat lunch at a local restaurant. We’ll continue on our adventure through the wonderful hamlet of Dades. Spend the night in Dades.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

For this day of our day trips from fes, we’ll take a short trip to Dades Gorges before continuing on to Ouarzazat. We’ll drive via Mgouna, where the Roses Festival is held every year. We’ll continue on our way to the Skura oasis. It is a lush palm oasis crisscrossed by multiple rivers. Then travel 30 minutes to Ouarzazate, which is 30 minutes from Skura. This city is commonly referred to as “Hollywood of Morocco” because numerous historical films were shot there. Kasbah Taurirt is one of the city’s historical sites; we may see on this day tour of Fes, the Kasbah before visiting the Cinema Museum and Atlas Film Studio. Following that, we will take a short drive to Ait Ben Hadou, a global UNESCO heritage site that is popular with tourists because it is the land for Game of Thrones. We may relax in the hotel, and you have time to yourself. Depending on the flight time, we recommend visiting the Majorelle Gardens.
